10-Day Umrah Tour Sample Program and Visited Sites
This 10-day Umrah package can also start or end in Madinah, depending on flight and hotel availability. During Ramadan, Ramadan Eid, and holy nights (Qadr Nights), prices may slightly increase due to high flight demand. Our customer service team will provide detailed information based on your travel dates.
Day 1: Arrival in Jeddah from Istanbul / Performing Our First Umrah
Meet at the designated time at Istanbul New Airport or Sabiha Gökçen Airport. At the airport, we don our ihram garments and make our intention for Umrah. This is done to avoid penalties, as the Harem boundaries are crossed even by air before landing in Jeddah. Additionally, wearing ihram on the plane can be uncomfortable, so it’s best to wear it at the airport, perform the Umrah prayer, and board the flight prepared.
After checking in our luggage and passing through customs together, we board a roughly 4-hour flight to Jeddah. Upon arrival, we complete customs procedures, collect our luggage, and board our waiting vehicle/bus for a 1-hour journey to Makkah, accompanied by Talbiyah and Takbirs. We check into our hotel and settle into our rooms. After performing a quick ghusl, you proceed to the Kaaba to perform your first Umrah. (If desired, a guide/mutawwif in your language can be arranged for an additional fee.) The Umrah, lasting approximately 2 hours, concludes with shaving or trimming hair and removing ihram. We return to the hotel to rest. Overnight stay in our Makkah hotel.
Meal: Dinner
Day 2: Full Day at the Kaaba / Optional Tawaf
After performing the morning prayer at the Kaaba, guests who wish may rest in their rooms until breakfast. After breakfast, the day is free for tawaf and optional worship at the Kaaba.
Day 3: Visits to Arafat, Muzdalifah, and Mina / Arafat Umrah
After breakfast, we depart from the hotel at 08:30, accompanied by a local driver only (no guide provided), to visit sites obligatory during Hajj but optional during Umrah. After observing these places, where millions gather during Hajj, those who wish can enter ihram in Arafat and make their intention for Umrah. After the visits, guests performing Umrah return to the Kaaba, while others are transported back to the hotel by the driver.
Day 4: Nearby Makkah Visits
After morning prayers, following breakfast, you can visit nearby sites around the Masjid al-Haram and Kaaba, such as the Jinn Mosque and Jannat al-Mualla cemetery. Return to the Kaaba for noon prayers, followed by free time.
Suggestion: If you wish to buy gifts for loved ones in Makkah, we recommend visiting the Ka’kiyah market, where you can find a variety of products at reasonable prices. Be mindful of your luggage allowances.
Day 5: Free Time for Worship in Makkah / Jabal Noor and Hira Cave
Full day free time.
You can explore the Masjid Haram with detailed information using the PDF we provide. Unique and lesser-known sites of this sacred place, considered Allah’s Haram even before the creation of Prophet Adam (alayhissalam). Afterward, you can perform tawaf and optional worship.
Suggestion for today: After Isha prayers, those who wish can visit the Jabal Noor Museum and Hira Cave, where the first verses of the Quran were revealed.
Day 6: Optional Worship in Makkah and the Kaaba
Full day free time. In the evening, those who wish can visit the Jabal Thawr Cave, marking the beginning of the Hijrah.
Day 7: Journey from Makkah to the Prophet’s City, Madinah
After morning prayers, we bid farewell to the Kaaba and have breakfast at the hotel before departing for Madinah, the city of the Nabi (saw), accompanied by a local driver only (no guide provided).
En route, we visit the tomb of our mother Maymunah, eleventh and final wife of our Nabi (saw), to honor her memory before continuing. After a 2-hour drive, we then visit the site of the Battle of Badr, the Arish Mosque where the Prophet (peace be upon him) managed the battle, and mud-brick homes of the Companions, transporting you back 1,400 years to the era of our beloved Nabi (saw). We spend about half an hour at the Jabal Malaikah, where 3,000 angels descended to aid Muslims during the battle.
Next, we visit the Rawha Well (Bi’ru Rawha), also known as Bi’r Shifa, a special site where our Prophet (peace be upon him) drank water, performed ablution, and prayed during his travels to Badr, Umrah, and Hajj al Wada. After praying a minimum of two rakats and sipping water, we arrive in Madinah by evening, settle into our hotel, perform ghusl just like in sunnah after travel, wear our finest clothes, apply our best fragrances, and humbly visit the presence of our beloved RasoolUllah (sallallahu alaihi wasallam), the Sultan of Prophets. After your initial greeting, you are free to pray and explore the Masjid to your heart’s content. Overnight in Madinah.
Day 8: Jannat al-Baqi Cemetery and Surrounding Visits
After morning prayers, we have breakfast at the hotel, followed by a general briefing about Madinah and to surrounding sites, including Jannat al-Baqi Cemetery (can be visited after Fajr or Asr only and females not allowed) and other significant historical locations.
During the time of our Prophet (peace be upon him), the entire city center of Madinah was smaller than the area now occupied by Masjid an-Nabawi. As a result, many historical sites were either incorporated into the mosque or its courtyard during expansions. One of the simplest examples is the house of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him), where he hosted the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) after the Hijrah.
However, alongside these, several places that carry the memories of that era still remain. Among them are Masjid al Ghamamah, Masjid Abu Bakr , Masjid Ali bin Abi Talib, Masjid Umar, Masjid Uthman, and Masjid Bilal etc. These sites, located in the vicinity of Masjid an-Nabawi, offer a glimpse into the early Islamic period and the lives of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and his Companions.
During today’s visits, you will have the opportunity to explore these sacred locations, reflect on their significance, and engage in worship or duas as desired.
Jannat al-Baqi (also known as Baqi al-Gharqad) is one of the oldest and most significant Islamic cemeteries, located adjacent to Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah. It is considered a sacred site where many of the Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) relatives, Companions, and early Muslims are buried. The cemetery is called “Jannat al-Baqi” (Garden of Baqi) due to its spiritual significance and the presence of a type of tree called Gharqad that once grew there.
Visitors to Jannat al-Baqi are encouraged to offer prayers as it is a Sunnah to visit this cemetery and pray for those buried there. The cemetery’s simple, unmarked graves reflect Islamic teachings on humility and equality in death. However, access is generally restricted to men, and women may only view it from outside due to local regulations.
Day 9: Uhud, Masjid al-Qiblatayn, Seven Mosques, Quba, and Ambariyyah Mosque
After performing morning prayers at Masjid an-Nabawi, we have breakfast at the hotel. A local driver (no guide provided) will pick you up from the hotel to take you to the visits.
Madinah, the blessed city of our Prophet (peace be upon him), is filled with his fragrant memories. Today, we visit sacred sites in the farther parts of the city, where he spent the last 10 years of his life, including the Uhud battlefield, Masjid al-Qiblatayn (the Mosque of the Two Qiblas), the Seven Mosques, Quba Mosque (the first mosque built in Islam), and the Ambariyyah Mosque.
Day 10: Farewell to the Holy Lands – Ziyarat e Haramain Sharifain
For passengers who arranged their own flight tickets, transfer services will be provided according to their flight schedules.
As this is our final day, we recommend spending the previous night at Masjid an-Nabawi to maximize your spiritual benefit. At least 4 hours before our flight, we bring our luggage to the hotel entrance, perform a final group greeting, take a last tour of Madinah, and head to the airport. We collect our allocated 5 liters of Zamzam water per person at the terminal entrance for 12 SAR, check in, and hand over our luggage. We board the flight back to Türkiye. We pray for each other, asking Allah to grant us the opportunity to return soon.
