Package Overview
Umrah Plus al Quds
10 Days Package Umrah Plus Al Quds for 3 Days
As stated in Hadith Shareef ”There are three Masjids can be visited with the niyyah of Ibaadah. This umrah package covers all these Masjid al Haram, Masjid Nabawi and Masjid al Aqsa in Quds.
When we think of Jerusalem, our minds go to our oppressed Muslim brothers and sisters in Palestine and the golden dome we often associate with Al-Aqsa Mosque. However, even with this awareness, when one visits with sincere intention and breathes in the historic air of the Haram al-Sharif and its surroundings, they return in awe, utterly transformed. This sacred sanctuary holds a unique place in hearts. Allah the Almighty refers to this holy land in Surah Al-Isra (17:1), stating: “…whose surroundings We have blessed…” These lands are the realm of the Prophets (peace be upon them all) and the stage for the most well-known events in religious history. From Abraham (AS) to Moses (AS), David (AS) to Solomon (AS), the Prophets sent to the Children of Israel faced persecution here, yet carried the luminous lamp of prophethood granted by their Lord across these blessed lands. Here, Jesus (AS) whispered with his disciples before being raised to the heavens by Allah.
The term “Aqsa” in Arabic means “distant – far .” Al-Aqsa Mosque lies nearly 1,500 km from the Arabian Peninsula, following the Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and the Masjid Nabawi in Madinah al Munawwarah. It is also one of the three mosques the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized in a Hadith as worthy of dedicated travel for worship. It marks the final earthly destination of the Isra and Mi’raj (Night Journey and Ascension) and was the first qibla (direction of prayer) for Muslims before the Kaaba. In short, words cannot do it justice—it is a place one must visit to truly grasp its essence. If possible, combining a visit with Umrah would be ideal. Even if we cannot go, let us never let the intention to visit fade from our hearts, insha’Allah.
Istanbul – Tel Aviv – Al Quds ( Jerusalem)
We will meet at Istanbul New Airport (IST) or Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). After a briefing and completing check-in and passport procedures, we will fly to Tel Aviv, a journey of approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, after passport control and customs, we will travel by private vehicle for about one hour to Jerusalem. Depending on availability, our hotel will either be located on the Mount of Olives ( Jabal az-Zeitoun), Jerusalem’s most scenic viewpoint, or within walking distance of Al-Aqsa Mosque. Following a general orientation, we will proceed to Al-Aqsa Mosque for prayer. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Note: We typically prefer hotels near Haram al-Sharif operated by Jordanian hospitality providers. However, if these are unavailable, we arrange accommodation at hotels 2-3 km away, with shuttle services to Haram al-Sharif. As you can appreciate, aside from Muslim visitors, a large number of Christian tourists also visit Jerusalem, and centrally located hotels tend to book up quickly.
Mount of Olives (Jabal az-Zeitoun)—Al Quds Qadim & Haram al-Sharif
For guests wishing to perform Fajr prayer at Al-Aqsa Mosque, shuttle service will be provided if we are far away. If our hotel is nearby, then you can easily walk on your own. After an open-buffet breakfast at the hotel, we will walk (if our hotel is on the Mount of Olives) to visit the cave and tomb known as the resting place of Rabia al-Adawiyya (may Allah sanctify her soul). However, recent research (TDV Encyclopedia of Islam) indicates it belongs to Rabia bint Ismail of Damascus, the wife of Ahmed ibn Abi’l-Hawari. The actual grave of Rabia al-Adawiyya is in Basra. Next, we visit the shrine of the Companion Salman al-Farisi (RA) and the site believed to hold the footprint of Prophet Jesus (AS), where he is said to have ascended to heaven. Due to heavy Christian pilgrim traffic and limited space, we briefly observe the area before proceeding by bus to the Bab al-Rahma Cemetery adjacent to Haram al-Sharif. Here, we recite Fatiha for the souls of the Companions Ubada ibn al-Samit (RA), Shaddad ibn Aws (RA), and other righteous figures and martyrs buried here.
Haram al-Sharif spans approx. 35.6 acres and houses around 200 historical structures from various eras. We explore key sites: the ancient Al-Aqsa Mosque, the Buraq Mosque, the Marwani Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock (Qubbat al-Sakhra) with its iconic golden dome built over the Holy Rock. Free time is given for Dhuhr prayer, allowing us to absorb the spiritual blessings of this sacred land.
After prayer, we stroll through the narrow streets of Old Jerusalem, with free time for lunch. Regrouping at the designated spot, we visit the Western Wall (Buraq/Wailing Wall), the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Kanisah al-Qiyamah), the Mosque of Umar (RA), and the tomb of Prophet David (AS)—whom Jews honor as a king rather than a prophet. We also view historical monuments built by our Ottoman ancestors. Finally, we return to the hotel to rest after a day of exploration.
